| ***UPDATED JULY 1st, 2009!*** Have you been looking for a way to play your XBOX in HD and still be able to record your gameplay on your Macbook? Scared you'll have to spend thousands of dollars to pull this off? Look no further! I have the solution that won't send you into debt! This video tutorial will show users how to record their XBOX 360 gameplay on their Macbook Pro using the Slingbox HD Pro without losing their HD gameplay quality. For weeks I searched the internet to try to find a cost smart solution to pull this off. I wanted to play in HD and still be able to record. The only solutions I found either cost a fortune or forced me to play in SD. Why play in SD when I have an HDTV? No way! My biggest problem in trying to find a solution to this was that on every Mac forum I visited and posted my questions on how to do this, I would get silly answers like "It will cost you thousands of dollars." This infuriated me as I knew I should not have to invest that much to pull off what I wanted to. Search after search it was the same thing until I noticed that a new device was coming out from Sling Media called the Slingbox HD Pro. The first thing I noticed on the device was an HD video pass thru. Could this be the answer I was looking for? I quickly went out and picked one up. I hooked it up to my network, ran my 360 to it, ran another set of HD cables from it to my HDTV and BAM! I was in business.
